by Kavio Labs · for OpenCart 4.x and 3.0.x
B2B quotes for OpenCart 4.x and 3.0.x: a Request a quote button under Add to cart takes the chosen options and quantity into a quote list; buyers send it with notes, company and a message. You answer in an offer editor (list price, discount % or unit price per line, quantities, live totals, validity date, message, internal note) and send the offer by e-mail. The buyer accepts, asks for changes or declines on the quote page or in My quotes; accepting fills the cart and an order total line brings it to the quoted prices with taxes adjusted, ordered once and only until the validity date. Price on request for chosen categories or products, with the cart refusing them on the server. Events and an order total, no OCMOD.

Request a Quote works with OpenCart 4.1.0.4, 3.0.5.1.
We list the builds we install and test on. “Tested” means the test plan ran on that build; “Supported” means the build is inside the supported range.
| Version | Range | Runs on | Status |

OpenCart 4.1.0.4, 3.0.5.1. Tested on OpenCart 4.1.0.4 and OpenCart 3.0.5.1. The Compatibility tab lists every version range.
No. They work through OpenCart events and standard extension types (modules, order totals, themes). No core file edits, no OCMOD patches, no theme template edits, so OpenCart updates and other extensions keep working.
Yes. Every download has a package for OpenCart 4.0.2 to 4.1.x and one for OpenCart 3.0.3 to 3.0.5, and the license key works with both. Moving from OpenCart 3 to 4 later costs nothing.
One production store domain with every subdomain (www, shop., staging.), plus local development hosts such as localhost, *.local and *.test. A store on another domain needs its own license; a second-store license is 40% off. You have 14 days after installing to enter the key. 12 months of updates and support are included; after that the extension keeps working and renewals are 50% off. How licensing works
Yes. Ask for a full refund within 30 days of your first purchase, no reason needed: open a ticket or write to [email protected] with your order number. The money goes back to the card or bank account you paid with within 5 business days of approval. Refund policy

Request a Quote turns price questions into orders. Business buyers collect products with their options and quantities in a quote list and send it with their details; you answer with an offer (your unit prices or a discount per line, quantities, a validity date and a message); the buyer accepts with one click and checks out at the quoted prices.
No OCMOD, no core file edits: events and an order total. One licence covers OpenCart 4 and 3. Tested on OpenCart 4.1.0.4 and 3.0.5.1 with the default themes; other 4.0.2.x to 4.1.x and 3.0.3.8 to 3.0.5.x versions are expected to work but are not tested.
kv_quote_requests.ocmod.zip.kv_quote_requests-oc3.ocmod.zip.Extensions > Extensions > Order Totals > Quoted prices (Request a Quote) holds the sort order of the "Quote Q-0012 prices" line (default 2, right after the sub-total). Keep it before the taxes and the total.
Upload the new package the same way. Quotes and settings stay; tables, events and settings are brought up to date the next time you open the extension.
Uninstalling removes the extension's tables (quotes, lines, history), its settings, events and the order total. Orders placed from quotes stay in OpenCart.
Sales > Quote requests > Settings
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Status | On | Off: the quote button, list and quote pages are hidden; quotes are kept. |
| Quote button | On every product page | Or only on quote-only products. |
| Button text | Request a quote | Up to 40 characters, e.g. "Ask for a price". |
| Quote-only categories | none | Products in these categories show "Price on request" and the quote button instead of the price and Add to cart; the cart refuses them on the server. |
| Quote-only products | none | Product ids from Catalog > Products, separated by commas. Same effect as the categories. |
| Accent colour | #0f766e | Quote button, quote list link, quote pages and e-mail buttons. |
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Required fields | none | Company and / or phone required in the request form. Name and e-mail are always required. |
| Offers valid for | 14 days | Default validity date of a new offer. After the date the buyer can no longer accept. |
| Notify | store e-mail | Address for new requests and buyer answers. |
Enter the key from your Kavio Labs account. Without a valid key the quote button and quote pages stop after the 14-day trial; the admin always works.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New request | The buyer sent the quote list. |
| Changes asked | The buyer asked for a different offer. |
| Offer sent | Your offer is waiting for the buyer. |
| Accepted | The buyer accepted and is checking out. |
| Ordered | The order with the quoted prices was placed (order link on the quote). |
| Declined / Expired / Cancelled | Closed. A cancelled quote can be reopened. |
The quote page shows the offer with your unit prices (and the list price struck through where you gave a discount), the total excluding tax, your message and the history. The buyer can Accept and check out, Ask for changes or Decline, with an optional message. Signed-in customers find all their quotes under Account > My quotes; guests use the link in the e-mail.
Accepting empties the cart and adds the quoted lines. The cart and checkout show OpenCart's normal prices plus a line "Quote Q-0012 prices" that brings them to the quoted prices, with the taxes adjusted. Shipping, payment and coupons work as usual. If the buyer adds more units, the extra units are charged at the normal price. When the order is placed the quote becomes Ordered and cannot be used again.
Quote-only products (chosen categories or product ids) hide the price and the Add to cart button on the product page and show "Price on request" with the quote button. Category, search and module listings of your theme still show the price of quote-only products; the cart refuses them there too.
Yes. Guests get a signed link to their quote by e-mail; signed-in customers also see their quotes in the account.
Yes. The prices live on the server: the order total checks the accepted quote, its lines, options and quantities. A quote can be ordered once and only until its validity date.
Yes. The quote line then adds the difference instead of taking it off.
No. A request is free; the buyer pays at checkout after accepting your offer.
The quote button is placed under the Add to cart button of the product page and has its own styles; the quote pages use your theme's header and footer. Tested with the default OpenCart 4 and 3 themes.
Not in this version: quote-only products hide the price for everybody.
No. Events and an order total only, no core file edits.

More for OpenCart
Server-side tracking for OpenCart 4.x and 3.0.x: purchases, refunds, add to cart, checkout, product views and leads go from your server to the free official GA4 Measurement Protocol, Meta Conversions API and TikTok Events API, deduplicated with the browser pixels through shared event ids. Consent-aware, SHA-256 hashed customer data, order status mapping, queue with retries, test mode and an event log. No paid relay, events only, no OCMOD.
The department store theme for OpenCart 4.x and 3.0.x: colour-coded departments, a department list beside the hero slider with two side promos, a big search with a department selector, tabbed product blocks, a 2 + 1 + 2 offer grid, deals of the day with real countdowns, a department showcase, a promotions band and a three-column product page with a sticky buy box. Four styles (Meridian, Harbor, Citrus, Night) and your own colours on top. Events only, no core changes.
Stop AI crawlers, scrapers, vulnerability scanners and unwanted countries before OpenCart 4.x or 3.0.x builds a page. Googlebot and Bingbot are verified by DNS and always allowed; 50+ bots get one switch each; country rules use free GeoIP databases and can close only the checkout; IP and network lists, rate limits, honeypots and the cart flood fix; a one-second challenge instead of a captcha; learning mode, dashboard, log, IP tester and Cloudflare export. No core changes, no OCMOD.
